GTS-R is infamous around these parts
If you take a look at the price increase on for the UK, it is about 5.6 and 5.2% respectively for the Carrera and Carrera S. So I am going to guess for the US:

Carrera: $77,600
Carrera S: $88,200

There is no need to guess, the prices were already stated earlier in the thread.

Anyway, 4.1 quoted is crazy. With the 6500 rpm launch I am not going to doubt that this car could, possibly, post a 3.9.

I just want to know what the trap speed will be, if it can hit 116 mph, Porsche listens to my prayers.

Thanks, I guess I need to read more carefully. The price increase is much less than I thought it would be. Anyone know the cost for PDK and the sports suspension?

I am more curious about the new options price. As we know, the options can easily add up another ten to twenty thousands dollars on top of the base price...

Regards,

I just placed my order for an August build for a CS2 yesterday and although they didn't have the pricing for PDK yet, I was told to expect it to be in the $8-$10k range. Also, to my suprise PSE was not included as an option.

Cheers

WOW, I figured PDK a little more than the tip,but not 2 to 3 times as much. So a cab s with some options and pdk is gonna push 118k or so.

If PDK is going to be 8-10K I am keeping my 2007 997S. Forget that they can have it and I will move on to another brand. I figured PDK would be in the $3k range.

I would expect lower than $8-10K. The BMW system is under $3K.

Isn't PDK also supposed to replace the Tiptronic S on the new Carrera? If so, I would expect PDK to be priced around the current Tiptronic S price range.

If the current Tiptronic S on the Carrera S is about $3,420, I would anticipate the PDK will not be too much more -- maximum $5K - $6K would be my guess?

Probably dealers couldn't yet confirm the PDK actual price from PCNA, so they would rather over-quote to the customers who order the cars, than under-quote it? The $8K-$10K estimate would be a safe over-quote number, so customers wouldn't be too unhappy when the actual price is lower.

of course, we are all just guessing... No one would know until the offical price is announced...

Just a thought...

With best regards,
