Rear Child seat suggestion

Hi All,

Since I sold my 996 almost 3 years ago, I haven't been actively posting on the forum. Now I am back with a 997s (just got it last week) trying to fit a 22lbs 3 year old in the back seat.

The child seat issue has been discussed many times but I am not sure what really works. Other than the OEM seats, what brand of child seat fits best at the rear? I bought the Britax roundabout but it doesn't work well... Any suggestions? Thanks!

I have a Recaro Start Child Seat that fits but it is quite snug and the back takes up a lot of room. It works, but certainly not ideal.

I'm also interested if anyone has any success with any backless booster seats. I've tried the Graco Backless seat but it is too wide.

22lbs and 3 years old? My 2 year old daughter is 32lbs, and my 4 year old son is 45lbs. Are you sure the weight is correct? My 4 year old has been in the front seat of my 06 with a booster seat, and the air bag shuts off automatically. BTW Toys R Us sells the Booster sets for about $30.

I use the OEM Porsche Junior Latch Seat in the back of my 997S, and my son loves it. It's usable with various configurations from 22-65 lbs.

That's OK, I think that my daughter is way to big for a young girl! She can hold her own against my son!
