MrBonus is infamous around these parts
What's the difference between the PFC 97s and the Pagids?

Well, the PFCs are easier to set up in that they don't require bedding in - just the way they are designed. Good bite from the start. Pagids require bedding in and felt more "gentle" in the progression of their bite. Both equally good in my opinion, just different nuances. Both put up with the heat very well - zero glazing. Both dusted about the same - no real difference there (color was the same muddy rust for both). I will be using either / both in different sizes for my GT3.

Not that they didn't want to, but as I understand because the car wouldn't meet some sort of "car vs. pedestrian" height requirement.
I wonder what sort of Federal regulation those huge, beastly pickup trucks with oversized tires and increased ride height, whose bumpers are at the height of one's head or roofline, meet! I don't see any regulatory agency enforcing regulations on these vehicles which are very clearly a danger to others in case of an accident.

Ron, the -20mm PASM sport is on the USA order sheet according to my dealer and we ordered it so we will see what happens. I just want the lower stock GT3 look and feel. If they would just do PDK in a GT3 it would be all over for me!

That would be great Mike,
I just remember that in the past we couldn't get the -20mm sport ride height because it was "too low" and there were car vs. pedestrian Federal issues. I would be interested to know how they worked through that (curiosity factor) or if maybe the original reports on why we couldn't get non-PASM sport were incorrect (though I remember them coming through Porsche).

Ron,
Can you please update us all on what is still available?
If the AWE 200 cell cats are still available, I would take them.
Thanks,
CATTMAN

See bottom of page 1 - only pads are left and at this point just the 1-DE used Pagids.
