I'm going to attempt this.
Is this required:2. Remove trim under instrument panel at front passenger's side. 701919 Removing and installing trim under instrument panel - chapter on "removing"
It is part of the instructions but relates to where the steering wheel is???? Obviously I'm on the other side!
Cheers Lads

A word of warning: Be careful not to push down on the glovebox door when it is open while you are working with it. When getting out of the car with the glovebox door open, I accidentally pushed myself up by pressing down on the door. I snapped off the hook on the hydraulic damper of the right and broke off the stop that sits in the far back left (from inside the glovebox it looks like a plastic disc but it is part of a rubber tipped stop mechanism). You cannot independently order a replacement stop and without it the $10 hydraulic damper/hook isn't strong enough to hold the door by itself. You have to buy the whole glovebox (new it is somewhere around $800). I managed to find a glovebox that was somewhat damaged in a crash and salvaged the parts for a little under $80.
Other than that, as stated in other posts, it is pretty easy.
