video: X51 headers, AWE cats and FABSPEED bypass pipes
#17
Wow! nevermind, I just watched the 2nd video. man that is loud in the car, just like when I had bypass pipes on my 996. I didn't last more than a week with them on.
You may want to consider these as the add-on muffler, they are a cross between a bypass pipe and a sport muffler. www.afterhoursautomotive.com/porschemufflers.html
The 997 version should be avail soon - call them for more info.
The unique thing is they are 80% as loud as bypass pipes at WOT but close to typical sport muffler levels at cruise / idle. So you can be rowdy or stealthy, and normal driving is very liveable.
Sound inside the car at WOT is a bit louder than regular sport mufflers.
Sound inside the car at cruise / idle is almost stock levels.
