What is the interior like at night?

I'm looking at getting a Porsche in a few months. Haven't decided on a new Cayman or a used 997, but in any case - I currently have a BMW 3-series, and I love the nighttime interior lighting. The instruments are backlit with orange, and the shifter/center console is gently illuminated by orange lights in the headliners. It's a cool effect.

I can't find any pictures of Porsche interiors at night. What do they look like?

It's not as nice as the BMW that's for sure - BMW has the best nighttime lighting - the 997 is light colored with a blueish white-like interior lighting - very cold and modern, to BMW's warm lighting

I also loved the interior lighting of BMW's. The Porsche isn't as nice but it still puts a grin on my face...

It was kinda hard to photo as i am not very camera savy yet I went into my garage and tuned off all the lights , sat in my car , and turned on the light and radio . I did not turn on the engine (haha --joke) . The flash made it bright though but this is what my interior looks like . Keep in mind my steeting wheel is Techart if wondering why it's not stock looking.

Smile

A BMW, is more tuned towards being a sport touring car.

A Porsche Nine Eleven, is tuned towards being a sports car.

Here's my check list, whenever I "pilot" my Nine Eleven...

Radio off - Check

Navigation off - Check

Sport button on - Check

Smile on - Check

i do like that steering wheel though, sharp... and i like how you kept the stock look of it as well rather then going with the TA look

I can't believe no one in this crowd of perfectionists has busted you for using a flash when trying to photograph the instrument lighting. Sort of like using a flash when photographing a scene in a movie theater.

Sorry, couldn't resist. Thanks for trying though. A430V did a nice job with his shots, and better than I would have done.
