Clock not keeping time

2007 997. I have noticed that the clock in the dash is not keeping the exact time - losing a few minutes in about 2 months. Any comments / suggestions?

I had the same issue. Mine was losing more than that. I brought it in for service and they replaced the PCM.

Yet the problem persists.

I'm not stressing as I'll soon be tossing (or selling?) the PCM for an aftermarket unit with 8 inch full color touchscreen with iPod, BlueTooth, Nav, DVD Player, Back-up Camera, etc.

Mine does the same, looses a few minutes a week though. Porsche knows how to build a great car but sucks at building clocks. I bet if Breitling built a car, it would suck too but keep great time.

just use your watch. That's what I did, it's not worth the hassle.

I am planning to get the Pioneer AVIC-Z3: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...n-Dash/AVIC-Z3

My installer will also be painting the console matte black to match the center console. With this install, we will be upgrading the Bose speakers to much better ones, and adding a power amp. Total, out the door is $3,500 parts and labor all in.

I think all the weight in the Bentley comes from the Clock! Breitling's are heavy!
