Some pics from Todays C&C in Irvine

Since I live so close- it is almost sacreligious to miss Cars and Coffee in Irvine, it is literally less than 2 miles from the homestead.

I went today for the first time with my 997 S Cab and lo and behold it was Porsche Marquis Day...I cruised by the first time and thought I would have to go to overflow- but when I was almost out of the main area- the guy from Porsche PCA waved me over to a Primo location near all the Classic Porsches, now I have an '05 997S Cab with a Tip and Chrome CC wheels, and while not a classic yet, I received ( I should say my "car") alot of attention and had a great time and learned that alot of people "dig" the Midnight Blue over Sand Beige interior...Some guy with a few Ferarri's almost wrote me a check for my ride....hmmmmm

Great time had by all, here are a few pics....

Three more Pics....

Just a few more pics- there were over 600 cars there at least...probably over a 100 P-Cars from a 912 to that expensive new $450K Carrera...

Hey Ken.

I wondered if that GT Silver Targa I saw was you. I got there at 6:10 and really enjoyed the show. Other than a couple of idiots it was a really great turn out. Lots of great cars and lots of neat people.

I hadn't been to the event since it moved venues and I must say that Ford is really giving us car enthusiasts a terrific place to gather. I hope that people will wise up, mature, and knock off the burn outs, etc. so that the police state of Irvine doesn't have a reason to shut it down.

Unfortunately, the biggest culprit was the driver of a Carrera GT screaming and burning up the road, past all the warning signs. Too bad Irvine PD wasn't there as they usually are.

It was the largest turnout I've seen in a while, except when the BMW club crowded everyone out a few months ago. It's a great venue, and I hope it gets to stay there.

They were likely pointing to a weird paint defect or mark in the paint on the driver's door.

Agreed. It sounded to us like he went full throttle through at least four gears on Gateway. He must have really been haulling *** at that point.
