Anyone ever see or have pics of "anthracite" finished wheels on Porsche

I may (or may not, still thinking it through) have my wheels finished in an anthracite color. I am not sure if their are different tones to the color if so will be going on the dark side. Curious if anyone has pics of a 997 (or any 911 variant P car) with wheels in the Anthracite color? My car is seal grey and a small fear that the wheels will not seem dark enough against the car color, so other option is a flat like or satin black finish. I have always been attracted to cars with the right dark wheel set up.... so believe I am going to give it a try. Any insite would be great....

Note: I am getting three wheels refinished in the fall so thats another reason I am thinking about this change....

Thanks

(powder coated not PCCB's)

I would recommend getting them painted color matched seal grey or satin black. An anthracite color may not look right because it will look like you tried to match the body color but it did not come out exact.

yes great point

yes thats my fear..... unless I could get a very dark version on the verge of black anthracite? Color match another great option but not for my taste, so black may be the way to go... satin or flat? Thanks....

wish I had some photoshop skills, as I have some pics of my car that would give me a better idea photochopping in darker color on the wheels.

IMO, I think anthracite will be too high in value (not dark enough) to give a good contrast between the wheel and your seal grey color. I think a flat black would give a better contrast and look better.

Yes, and it looks even nicer in person. The finish is a paint, so there isn't the extra weight of chrome.

mickfluff - i'm in the same boat. have a meteor gray C4S and am debating on anthracite vs. black vs. silver/brushed. if you do happen to get anthracite wheels, can you please post pics?

i have a dark blue (mugello) RS4 with anthracite wheels and it looks awesome (in my opinion), but mugello blue is darker than meteor gray...
