BLAKT OUT - Finally, the project car is finished. Pics and video. Many mods to see.
Hey everyone,
I'm finally through! I was out of the country for 6 months while Synergy Racing at VIR built up my car. These guys are awesome. I suggest checking them out if you get serious about a track car. Incredible, no BS guys who do what they say and do it all perfectly. www.synergyracing.com.
Yesterday, Dan with Vivid started a little thread about my car here: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...s-goodies.html, but I wanted to start it from scratch and have the video and all that jazz on it... plus, I've looked forward to making this post for quite some time now. So, I hope you all don't mind me starting it from scratch.
Guys, I'm so happy. I know that many of you helped me out with the decision to stick with this car and not just go for the GT2/3. It's perfect for me now. I love it. It's very, very raw. We all have our different opinions and tastes with cars, but I can truly say that, to me, this is my favorite 911 I've ever seen. I really have that feeling. Thanks to Kerrigan and Randall at Synergy, Dan with Vivid, Fabryce with GMG, Marc with HRE, VF Engineering, and just about everyone, I was able to find just the parts I needed and have them all installed perfectly. I'm happy! I have that feeling now that everyone wants to have about their car after going ape$hit on the mods.
OK. Here's what we have. I'm not a pro photographer, and I've only had the car for two days. Remember, my idea here was to have a no-compromise track AND street car. That was the goal. The exhaust is a bit too loud for the street, and the suspension is quite tight for bumps too... but other than that, it's ideal all around.
From the top, it's a 2006 Carrera S. Basalt Black Metallic. 6 speed. 2 tone full leather interior.
Exterior mods include:
OEM GT3 nose. Silver grill inserts (risky not choosing black, but I like 'em!).
GMG carbon fiber nose vent.
GMG RS wing with carbon blade
Evolution Motorsports carbon mirrors
GMG carbon kevlar rear race bumper
Synergy Racing black anodized tow hook in rear
HRE C93s, 18", flat black with red pinstripe for the track. These wear Dunlop slicks (awesome).

For the street, I've got Volk TE-37s with Michelin Pilot Sport Cups

I have the huge Brembo 15" slotted brakes with the 6 piston rotors...
![](http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/nn168/jcullop1/C93closeupatVIR.jpg)
Motons, full GT3 conversion on the suspension, GMG sways, Monoball solid mounts, adjustable lower control arms, GMG dog bones... everything.

Synergy made a trick install setup in the nose for the Moton canisters. Note the carbon fiber custom mount.
![](http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/nn168/jcullop1/motoncanistersfront.jpg)
Then they mounted the rear canisters on the GMG roll bar.
![](http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/nn168/jcullop1/motoncanistersrear.jpg)
Fabtech headers and a custom Synergy Racing exhaust. Very loud. No cats.
![](http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/nn168/jcullop1/SynergyExhaust.jpg)
DASSport jack plate and an Agency Power tip from Dan at Vivid.
![](http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/nn168/jcullop1/exhausttipandjackplateonlift.jpg)
Cobra Technology carbon fiber racing seats. AWESOME. OMP 6 point harnesses. Carbon interior.

Check out this quick vid that I made. The guy shooting had a rough time keeping it level, but he's an incredible mechanic! This wasn't a full day, just a shakedown at VIR's South course before I could take delivery of her. I hope you enjoy! If you have any questions about anything I've done, please feel free to ask. I'll help in any way.
Did I say I was happy?

J man, I am SO HAPPY you went through with it ALL, no expense or part spared! You built what YOU wanted to, as I did with my M3, and it feels amazing doesn't it?
Amazing car wow, must be an absolute blast around VIR or any track, I love each thing done to it, and it sounds ridiculous as well!
Can't wait to see it in person, hopefully get a ride in it too , will you be doing any events in September? I was thinking the Potomac sept 5-7 full course days...

Martin,
Good to hear from you! Thanks for the kind words. I'm already signed up for Potomac. But they're trying to put me in green. I'm like, "You serious? OK. I'll take whatever, but... really?" Anyway, see you there!

Jared,
I had to de-tune my exhaust due to sound levels for the track (as well as the wife and kids) and I know that yours is louder then mine was, do you have track dB level limits in your area, or is it wide open?

Jared,
Dude!!! That is one bad-*** ride. It looks awesome, and it looks like it performs awesome as well....with Kerrigan and Randall working on your car, you have the some of the very best people in world of Porsche racing backing you. That turbo was probably wondering "what the hell?!?" when he couldn't pull on you on the straights. Ancient chinese secret
.
I can't wait to check out your car in person. Looking forward to the CMP track day on August 11th!
