Misha makes the wings to clear the articulating cab piece so he should be good.

No issues - the lid slides just above the wing...it's real close though. Next step...wheels!

HC - I love it! It's really changed the entire look of the car! I found this guy in Costa Mesa near Stuttgart Performance - he's a small shop but took real good care of the car. However I keep getting the warning message that the wing did not deploy...checked the wiring harness but no luck there so far

He probably did not get you the correct wiring harness. Misha's wings take the GT3 wiring harness; It is a harness specifically for the fixed wing cars not necessarily the aero cars. Call Sunset Porsche in Oregon and ask them if the part number you have is correct. They sell at dealer cost.

Here are some wheels on another white 997 cab from the board Pretty hot and they may be able to at least give you some direction. BTW I don't know/ never used them I just saw one of their post here on 6speed. Also, there is a chrome exchange program as well for the C4S Lobsters. Here is one of the pics as well:

HC - Chrome exchange will not work for me cause I have my car on a company lease - I've been thinking about whether black would look any good on a white cab. The more I see chrome, the more I like it...what do you think?

Black on the white car would be HOT! The only reason I didn't run that set up on my car was that I have a Metropol Blue Cab so the black would be a bit much. I almost swapped the top, but it would have been an interior mismatch. Take a look at the Techart rims in black. They are RIDICULOUS!! They are listed in the link I gave you. Here they are on a red 997 with a Misha GTM wing https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...s-my-997s.html

These are sick!! The red car looks perfect!!!

I found similar ones in white (see below) from Modular Concept. Only thing is to keep it clean from brake dust at all times...mmm

Looks great, but the white setup would be horrific to maintain. They have a a complete white lip not just a stripe so they would be almost impossible to maintain through the mesh. Most MBZ dust quite a bit too since they use the soft black Textar pads; mine did maybe the newer ones aren't as bad. The Techart hides the majority of the dust as well based on the fact that the majority of the lip is behind the face, it face inside and it's black as well. They come full black and the lip could be painted white.

Totally agree. Bad idea to get these...it would be a major PITA. I'll look into Techart's. Thanks HC!

These TSW rims are NICE; they are about half the price of the Techarts The are a nice compromise since the are both black face and a tasteful chrome lip. I think they would look awesome if you go the black route with Porche center caps.

Check the offsets though. None were listed and that could be the deal breaker.
