Thanks - that looks much better. I've not really spent any time with corrections to pics other than what comes standard with Windows Picture which is pretty limited.

 

Yesterday, I was in Amsterdam, and my host, giving me a ride to my hotel, apologetically noted, "I have only a 2-seater......" It turned out to be a MR2 cab, midnight blue, black interior. A toy compared to a 997, but a hell of a lot nicer than a taxi.

I cannot believe they dissed this color- Midnight Blue with the Sand Beige is a very classy color- Big Mistake! I... get compliments daily!

 

True that!! I get compliments all the time as well- It's one of the best color combos on a 911.

Anyone have comparison pictures of Midnight Blue to Dark Blue? I think the metallic flakes are larger in Dark Blue.

 

I've had a chance to compare my midnight blue to a dark blue pcar. Really tough to capture differences in pics as both colors will look different in pics depending on lighting. I'm no paint expert, but I think the midnight blue has a tinge of pearl to it whereas the dark blue does not. depending on how the light is hitting it the midnight has a wide range of color shift from lighter to darker, and the dark blue does not have as wide of a color shift. I'm more preferential to the midnight blue. Example, here are a few pics of my midnight blue with full sun, and the last pic is in full shade, you'll notice that every pic is different depending on how you catch the light reflecting off the car:

Beautiful- Love the gray interior, IMO that is one of the best color combos out there with either dark blue or midnight blue paint.
