As much as I love my C4S, it's gotta be the 997TT hands down...unless of course, a GT3 is in the picture.
Although there is minimal turbo lag, the power difference between the C4S and the TT more than make up for it. As for resale value, the TT should hold it's own better than the 4S.
Let us know what you decided.

What a decision to have to make
For me it came down to finding a deal that I would feel good about after the cash was spent. Just got my first PCAR but test drove 12 of them before I pulled the trigger, 2 of them TT. I came to the conclusion that unless you have to have the the pure power of the TT, an 997S is plenty fast. There aren't too many places day to day you can let such a beast roar. I have owned M3's for years in NYC and can tell you I never really was able to see what the car could really do. The C4S would be more of a bells and whistle play IMO.
Sounds like you got a great deal either way. I agree that if you do the TT you reached the pinnacle of PCAR ownership right out of the gate. Not sure how a 2nd owner TT would fair against a one owner FL down the road, it will be interesting to see. Let us know what you decided....
