Exhaust System Help Needed

Brackets
I have been speaking with Aaron at Suncoast since this thread started. He gave me the parts diagram to see what I needed. He does have the brackets in stock. The are $180 each, so that is why I am trying to find them used for a better price.
Thanks,
Adam

I doubt you'll find them used - everyone needs them to fix their mufflers to the car! Only possibility is to find a crashed car at a breakers yard I would think.
BTW I have a pair of lightly-used Tubis up for sale. I've put a full AWE system on my car now (headers, cats and mufflers) so the Tubis are sat here doing nothing. Don't know the US$ price but would be willing to let you have them half price - I might even pick up the shipping costs too if they're not horrible!

Try Sunset Porsche in Oregon, their prices are typically the lowest. Also try Los Angeles Porsche Dismantlers (google search), they might save you a few bucks with some take-offs from a wreck.
You are losing a lot of performance with headers running right into bypass pipes, the flat six needs some backpressure to get the TQ up.
If you want sweet sound and excellent performance for a very reasonable price, get a set of stock cats and a set of AfterHours sport pipes - www.afterhoursautomotive.com - just an awesome combination and you'll definitely notice a lot of improvement over your current setup. I ran this combination on my 996 and the dyno chart results were damn impressive (as were the daily butt dyno results ).

Well, Ian is the winner!
Thank you, I got a parts diagram from the Suncoast. I could see which parts I was missing (1) 996-111-127-61 and (2)996-111-128-59 which are exactly what Ian had advised. I am still unclear if these brackets will clear the aftermarket headers. The design of the headers(the way the pipes are routed) is different than the stock design.
I may have to buy X51 headers and the brackets in order to put the mufflers back on the car. I will need to buy the brackets either way, I think they are needed to install any type of mufflers.
Do any aftermarket mufflers (Tubi, Fabspeed) come with their own brackets.
Does anyone know someone who is selling just the brackets?
Thanks again for the help everyone! 1st step done and on to step 2.
