I also saw "88" flying back from Hong Kong last week.
I was pleasantly surprised with the 997 but was LOL when the car blew up and it was some junk with 2 steel pipes welded under the car for the exhaust and no engine/tranny in the back... Pretty lame actually....

James Woods in a 968 cab in "The Specialist" and in "Two and a Half Men" (I know it's TV) Alan gets a Boxster and the hole episode is devoted to his "Por-sche"

I never understood why these car are tax so much by the govt in country such as those in Asia etc. And what does one need to make in-order to afford them. And how many people can afford them. Half a million will buy you Five C2S in the US. You do not have to be rich (I am not)to drive a Porsche here, and there are plenty of used at decent price for those that love and want to get into one.

Noticed that as well. I guess this is the only way they could get the car to flip over when it blew up (without the engine in the back)...BUT someone was smart and saved a good engine!!!
