Falken/Toyo Tires for the track?

Does anyone have any experience with Falken Tires for the track?

How about Toyo T1R's?

I'm looking for a way to cut my tire budget and stay in stock class.

Thanks

Don't know about either of those, but (and I don't know if they qualify), have you checked out the Toyo R888s? Best tire I've ever driven, short of a Dunlop slick.

Yes, but R888 are $1600+ a set.

Im looking for a set of tires that would be $800-$1,000 per set.

Maybe going to 18" would help.

Im not looking for R compound as of yet.

T1R's are great for a street tire, I had them on my M3. The sidewall is a little soft for a track tire I thought. The RA1' s are an awesome track tire. For either one of them you will have to go with 18" sizes though.

Go to Bob Woodman Tire website. Best prices on Toyo R888's. Well with in your tire budget.
