Got the personalized paperweight and forwarded it to my 16 year old nephew who is a budding Porsche enthusiast.

I also gave him the personalized Porsche license plate they sent out last year that allowed you to customize a Porsche online and then they would send you out a poster of your customized Porsche.

I wonder why some of us get one and some don't.

 

My experience with Porsche has been excellent! Custom paper weight delivered shortly after purchase of car, certificate with vin mailed to me, christophorus subscription, posters, and excellent customer service during oil changes, etc.

I have really enjoyed the Porsche experience and can say that it is much better than all the other car's I've owned: Lexus comes in second; BMW, Mercedes, Toyota and Nissan are all very very far away in terms of service.

 

I wonder why it seems to be random. Does the dealer have an allotment and he decides who gets part of that allotment of customer maintenance gifts?

 

Certain dealers are good about putting in the extra cost for these items. I've purchased 3 different Porsche vehicles. Two from one dealer where I got all the goodies: trophy/paper weight, subscription, certificate, posters. The latest one I purchased, all I got was the subscription, but the dealer has excellent customer service. Both dealerships gave free keychains!

I think you are on to something regarding the allotment, etc.
