car wash BS
So a few days ago I'm at my usual hand car wash place and the guys always do a fantastic job, they know me and have even been to my place with the mobil van when i do all the cars.. so they hired a few new people who obviously are not trained right and this is what happened. Now I dont have a problem that it happened, I was really pissed that after it happened the guy tried to sell me on "the car looks better without it", and Im like "dude if I didnt want it, it wouldnt be on it." Luckily the owner of the carwash was there and also knows me so he did the right thing and refunded me the wash and also paid for me getting the new badging done. Here are some pics, I decided to go with black paint to match my lights and also had the chance to paint my roof spoiler, tell me what u think

It's pretty common to 'hook' the edge of an emblem (the 'S' or 'a' on Carrera) when washing or drying off w/ a microfiber towel. I try to be pretty careful wiping that rear panel to avoid what happened to your emblem.
The black emblems look good against the white body. Of course silver or no emblems are good too. It's a personal thing so you're the only person that matters.

Get rid of it. If you can't remember what it is you're driving, you have a problem. And what you're driving for other people is non of their business and they likely don't care anyway. Car looks much cleaner without it.
