I use the Porsche Key Ring on my Touareg Key, but a BMW Key Ring on a Porsche Key sounds wrong.

I agree. You sprung $70K + for a new car, what's another $50? Dress the part.

What key fobs don't use a metal key ring? I feel like I need to attach something to the 911 key, but with the metal slot on the end of the key, a metal key ring just vibrates annoyingly as I'm going down the road... I need something like a leather, synthetic, etc.

(Hanging the small Porsche key fob with the emblem on a key which already has that same emblem... that seems silly as well... maybe just to me.)

Here is what you need with a (silent) leather strap:

Nope, that would not work. On your key it does, the slot is plastic. But on the 2009's that is all metal, and the metal ring would continue to rattle... .and the chain is a bit long for me.

That silent leather strap solution adias suggested may work... but thats a lot of stuff to put in the front pocket... looks a bit bulky.
