Isn't XM bankrupt?

Nothing beats loading your tunes onto an iPod or a USB flash drive. From that perspective, the Universal Audio is more attractive than XM. Just an idea....

Yeah, XM Sirius is now rated one of the biggest tech business mistakes in history. They have a business model guaranteed never to produce a profit.

I'm already regretting getting it on my 09, because of that antenna bump that will soon be useless when XM finally gives up the ghost. Although I've loved XM in my Honda SUV and in my house for these past four years, it looks like my original instinct to just listen to the engine and not worry about having the Grateful Dead station was the right one. Sigh.

Great for music but if you are a transplanted Canuck or Brit, you won't have the CBC or the BBC!

I understand.

Soon enough, cars will have internet connections and streaming data/ music/ content will be seamless. Nissan already uses nano-tech-based self-healing paint. Proper music distribution cannot be far off

Perso, I now have almost perfected my music collection and do not care about news/ spoken content as I am on 4 computer screens most of the day: plenty of real-time info. Wanna be far away from the world when I step away.

I am averse also to the antenna bump causes: it's silly they didn't bother to hide it.
