There is. But buy cutting people off it forces them to do all their business there. Essentially allowing the dealer to have their cake and eat it too I can't say I blame them. Why not try and force revenue from both sales and service? If it was me, I'd take the money from anyone willing to spend it whether you bought it from me or not You'd at least have a chance to make some money and possibly earn their business on the next purchase.

I wonder how dealers like this handle their service then. What if I had moved from out of town and was looking to get my Pcar serviced, would they service it? Either way, its pretty ridiculous!

Obviously it would be a different story. Completely different set of circumstances.
