As usual Road and Track are so far off the mark it isn't funny that they charge money for the sh*t they print.

It's not "998" but "991" and it will be here in 2011 as a 2012 MY. The active aero stuff "may make it" but the patent is relatively new so may take many more years to make it production ready and affordable.

More interesting will be to see if Porsche introduce KERS and other forms of energy conservation to ensure the car is sociably acceptable.

The camo'd rear reminds me of the 993 rear (with spoiler) .

Whatever the next gen 911 looks like, I'm sure it will look great.

You have to remember that these cars are "EP's". They are testing systems not bodywork. So new braking, new engines, new cooling systems, new electronics, etc.

The styling is already finalized but you;re not going to see it for probably another 12 - 18 months when they will put all the systems together in final EP's before pre-production build takes place.

So you can comment all you like about the styling, but in reality there's won't be anything to really comment on for quite some time.

This one so fake..
Porsche will never use same lights between older-newer models..
Check out 993-996-997 lights styles, totally different.
