Hi all, I came across a site that had black oval covers that replace the outer housing or cover the outer housing to match black paint, but I can't find the site. Any assisance would be appreciated. Anybody come across this before? It's just an aesthetics thing..

If I am not mistaken, I think those just double face tape over the top of the light. They dont replace the ring. OOOPppss, just read Stacys post. Confirm they do tape on

Ahhh, really frustrating. There was a shop located in Canada that sold headlight covers/eyelids over ebay for about $100 (unpainted). I was considering buying one a few months ago when I bought my car, since it had a chip in one of the headlights (I ended up buying a whole new assembly for $1k, ugh). Anyway, long story short I can't find the headlight and the ebay posting has since been removed. But just confirming, it's out there! You don't need to go buy a $300 carbon fiber one if all you're looking for is something to match your current paint.

 

I got mine from someone here on the forum parting his car out. Really good deal on the carbon fiber rings, but I didn't like the look, so I painted them black.

I'd search the For Sale section and see if anyone still has a set unsold.
