Dim nav display on 997.1 at night?

My 2007 C4S has the nav option, and during the day the display seems bright enough. (Actually, the display screen is polaized, which can make it a bit tricky if I have polarized sunglasses one).

The bigger issue is at night. The nav screen just doesn't seem very bright. I've turned up the dashboard dimmer stick all the way to the right for max console brightness, but the nav still looks pretty dim.

Is there another screen brightness control somewhere that I haven't found yet?

Thanks for any tips!

I've noticed this in my 997.1 as well. I'm guess that's just how porsche wanted it though. Like you, I would like it to be brighter.

The Display is fully adjustable. Start by pressing the MAIN button, Set, Display (scroll and select), and Brightness (scroll and select). It takes awhile (sometimes trial and error) with the PCM2 system to learn the sequences that take you to the desired sub-menu(s). That will do it!
