Jason, when you reset the battery you automatically clear the system of fault codes so whatever was on there gets erased from the OBDII although if it was something to do with the cats then it'll likely return in the next few hundred miles. This time you'll be armed with an OBDII scanner so you can see what it is before erasing it....
