V-flow VS X51 for NA 997

Im looking to get an intake before I chip my car. Should I go with the V-flow or the X51 which is double the price for my 08 997 NA?

My vote is for the X51, but keep in mind you have to cut a hole in your spoiler deck for the other inlet of the X51 intake. It's not a bolt on such as the vflow.

Im going to have RPM do it anyways, they know their stuff better then anyone, so im sure cutting the hole is no problem. Im just looking for performance, sound, and aesthetics.

I have the VFlo, but I think the X51 is a lot nicer. Neither one is going to give you any improvements, so if you want noise, go for the Evo, you want looks go for the X51.

Looks, fit, finish and if something goes wrong with the engine the dealer cannot point to the intake as the problem.... its usually always worth a little more to go with OEM if the option exists, especially if OEM is the superior product.

What he means is that the HP gains are minimal if there are any at all. However, your car will sound nicer, you will get a little better throttle response, and some have said the 3.8 will rev better in the upper band....
