There are safer choices of competition .

Not everyone who plunks 700Hp into a car is a street racer either. Some are , some might even keep the car in the garage like art. Every person is different .

What we all share in common is that we love our cars . We also love driving . After all you and I are both sitting on the same forum and even on the same thread.

I chose to make my car "Frankenporsche" (as you call it) because I felt that the factory is limited in how they can mass produce and warranty a car to the public . In short --they produced the platform and the rest is up to me and the tuners in a quest to maximize its potential .
Nicely put, I started with my stock car and noticed some features I thought could be improved on, anyone may say that I have gotten a bit carried away, but I do enjoy the changes that I was able to acheive. I would do it again, I love these cars, there are some things that are individualized that make the car yours, aside from the name on the title.

Wow, great thread. I am straddling the fence on this one. First will probably do very little to my car until out of warranty. By this point I will hopefully have a ton of track days which will dictate which way to go. Continue with the track and mod p-car proper vs. hunt down a track car. Right now I prefer the second option, with a great stock daily driver and separate track car to tweek like crazy. I have to say though, my mouth waters seeing what you guys have done. Truly impressive, particularly the SC thread.
