No, it is always in the lowered postion. SPORT PASM works just like regular PASM in normal (soft) mode and sport (stiff) mode. Nothing lowers or raises the car.
I'd highly suggest you go back to your Porsche dealer where you bought the car and have them go over your entire cars systems so you understand how your car works. Also read the owners manual.

Sammy -- I have a question . I could tell that you were so upset in your first post about this option yet had some trouble making the specific reference .
What made you even worry about this? I can take a guess and maybe Im wrong but if you drive that car off the lot you must have been very happy . Then somewhere this option was raised to yoir attention . I doubt it was on 6speed because Mdrums I think is the only poster who has it on his 09 as he ordered his car in advance and requested it. Most cars on the lots do not have it including the launch cars.
So my guess is that some dork saw your new car and instead of praising it pointed out this option which it lacked . But before I go further I just wanted to know.

Sammy, yes I have the SPORT PASM w/ LSD but if you never track your car you will never notice the LSD on the street. You can lower the car with the mods I mentioned earlier.
However I am more about the sport of a Porsche and not the luxury so I'd get the SPORT PASM no matter what...that is just me and my style.

No..nobody said anything..but I think the car would look great lowerd..so would rather have it be oem if it can be...don't care about lsd...the car is more than I can push or would want to on the street...but like idea of it being a lil lower without going aftermarket

If it were me, I'd just enjoy the car the way you have it. I'm guessing you have the S car, which means Gen 2 PASM which is brilliant. It's -10mm from stock and only 10mm higher than Sport PASM. That's only 2/5 of 1". No biggie. You also have Gen 2 just about everything else: PSM, TPMS, etc. Regarding Sport Chrono - it actually does something in the PDK car, if manual, a waste of money. Yes, it adjusts PSM tolerances, but if you are driving that poorly, you should get off the track and not worry about PSM. As is, non-SC cars can get to about 15 degrees of yaw before anything kicks in, meaning drive the line and relatively smoothly, and PSM will not interfere.
