Squeak on new GMG suspension

Friday I had GMG install H&R springs and thier GMG World Cup GT3RS sway bars on my 997S.

I now notice a squeak (it actaully sounds like a chirp) at the rear as I go over a bump (not at compression but at full release or the top of the bump).

Any thoughts?

I checked the sway bar bushings by crawling under the car. They have plenty of grease. I will call Fabryce in the morning.

As for how it all works, the springs are great. It actually is smoother in "comfort" than before. The sway bars are unreal. The car is absolutely flat in the corners. They also aligned the whole thing, so I have -1 camber in the front which actually makes it track better under breaking. Overall, I am ver happy.

The chirp noise is weird though. It's a new one on me.

Sounds like sway bar bushings to me. I'm sure Fabryce/GMG will take care of it for you.

I just ran an errand, and the squeak was gone. Either the springs settled sitting in the garage all day as suggested above or the grease on the sway bars "soaked" in also in deference to posts above.

Thanks!

Overall, the set up is great. Comfort is smoother and more confortable than stock. Sport is firmer but more controlled (less pitch, and better matched damper rebound). When pushed hard it settles beautifully in the corner. There is nearly zero roll now. I thought it was pretty flat for a street car before but now it is absolutely flat.

Update: I had to drive to San Diego this morning and the squeak was back. After I got back, I stopped by GMG. Apparently the GT3RS sway bars were mocked up on the GT3 subframe which is different than the C2S subframe. The bar rubbed the subframe ever so slightly at full rebound. They have small 5mm spacers that they forgot to install Friday. 45 minutes later I was on the road with no squeak. Thanks to Nolan and GMG.

This set up is awesome!!!!
