09 engine problem!!!
I have just over 3,000 miles on my 09 911S with PDK. As I was accelerating the engine sputtered and bogged, then 'reduced engine power' message appeared, then 'visit workshop'. I pulled over and the car stalled. I then had trouble getting it started, so I babied it home. 2 hours later I tried starting the car hoping it was just some one time gremlin. The car eventually barely got started and then stalled. I need to get the car towed to the service center in the morning, I have never needed to have a car towed!
Has anyone experienced anything like this?

I had a problem like with my old M3 once but then I realized I was running out of gas.
Could be a lot things... sounds like the bad fuel pump problem a few 335i's suffered from when they were new. Could also be bad gas, water in the fuel etc etc....

Did you have a problem accelerating? My 2009 pdk is now at 10,700 kms I cruise with it nearly everyday. I had a fuel pump replacement at my 10,000km first check up. My car would sometimes take long to start and sometimes it will hesitate when I fully accelerate for nearly a second. Do you experience this at all? Hope its not a major problem, keep us updated. Best of luck.

They took it away on a flat bed today and determined it is the fuel pump. I should have it back Tuesday and will report back if that is the final cure. I bet it is, because it has taken longer than it should to start. The loaner Cayman S I have turns over immediately. Thanks for all your feedback.
