just curious if you got any suggestions on how to remove the old badge

The badge is secured with a screw post and nut, accessible from inside the hood.

Silver Hood Badge Installed!
I finally got the time this weekend to swap out my gold hood badge with the new (refinished) silver badge and it looks fantastic on my 07' Arctic Silver C4S. Next weekend I'll swap out gold wheel centers for silver/black. I also have an all black badge but changed my mind on installing.
BTW, when I removed the two nuts securing the badge, the clay like insulation material crumbled. I cleaned them out and simply used slightly less than a pinky nails worth of "Plumbers putty" in place to prevent water seepage through hood holes. I also have a Das Shield so had to drill out matching holes in plastic shield to gain access to native holes under hood.
Here are some pics.

No 2 years now, but what the heck +1
I dont think they are flying off the shelf these days. So a group buy would help everyone out.

I recently purchased mine off Ebay for $95.00 through seller named "miamiexportimport" and I have been very happy with it.
Note that all of these badges are "refinished" as Porsche does not natively offer this as an option.
