For a car that gets weekly/biweekly run thru a car wash

Long term ( 6- 10 years plus) do metallic colors like meteor , sliver last or look better because swirls/scratches are not obvious vs a black paint?

Metallic paints tend to hide defects better because they refract light differently. Mid-tone cars help that as well. Such as silvers and grays.

Yep. Silver & Gray looks good from that perspective for longer. Black is a real nightmare unless you;ve got a lot of time on your hands. I gave up after a string of black cars and went with Seal Gray. It's not distinctive though, so you have to weigh up those factors as they suit you.
