They were on the car as an option . You could contact your parts dept and see if they have them and can give a fair price . On mine as an option the MSRP were 700 or so.

i am pooped.
C6 Z06 and took my time getting there as this would be my last time driving it. i had the Z for 2 years and with just a tune and filter, it put down 490 rwhp on a dynojet at 3032 pounds.
TQ everywhere on the tach. you could pass people weather they wanted to be passed or not. 99.9 % of people i raced fell to the mighty Z. including a modded 996 TT and a stock 08 viper (600hp).

Very cool, I bought my 996 from them a few months ago and I've been tracking the cars on their site daily, hoping to get into a 997S.
I hope your purchase experience w/ them was as excellent as mine. If you haven't yet, then you should receive a small box in the mail from PCNA that has your CPO card, key ring, and a leather baggage tag. At least... I got one after I bought mine.

Yeah, well, I guess somepeople like that sorta crazy straight line speed. A solid rocket booster straped between your legs also gives you great ability to blow by things. And its totally unappealing. Driving is not about going the quickest in a straight line. I'll leave that to todays adolescent drivers. For me, its, lets drive around a road course at top speed for 60 minutes and see how 1) comes out ahead and 2) had the more enjoyable ride. I never drove a Porsche until I pulled my 997 out of my garage a week after it was delivered. No test drive was needed. Having driven German cars for most of my life, I knew what I needed to know well before I decided to buy... that I would enjoy driving it.

I can appreciate your feelings. I had 2 C5 Z06's and swithched to a Cayman S and now my Carrera S.
I totally respect Corvettes. They are brutally fast, great on track days, and will blow the doors off of a 997S. Best bang for the buck out there, but............
A Porsche rewards at any speed and nothing compares with the road feel and total driving experience they provide. I haven't looked back.
Congratulations on your new Porsche!

dont get me wrong, the Z is brutal fast on the street or track. its one of the top 10 cars on the ring with a time better than a 997 tt. it just doesnt feel as good to drive it is my point
yes, they gave me 2 new key chains when i picked up the car. dont need a 3rd but may be ill stick my valet key on it

I'd like to offer my congrats as well. It's great to hear of the kid-like 'can't sleep' syndrome. An early indicator of a great decision and relationship. But you're already a lucky one. The C6 is very special as well. It's a win-followed-by-win situation. Enjoy.
But we've got a homework assignment for you. Not just pix of the new car, but a comparative writeup of the two cars. Pluses and minuses. Turn on's and turn offs! Do it before the C6 fades from memory. Consider this a bluebook exam. One hour. Pencils up!
