Parrot Bluetooth CK3200
Has anyone installed the Parrot CK3200 units in their 997's? I have an older PCM in my 997 and unfortunately connot integrate any bluetooth device into the PCM (Tooki or Dension) so must go with a Parrot. Any experience with this unit and where is the best place to mount the color display?
Thanks,
Jon

Can you tell me.. How does one know if they have the old pcm and it doesnt work with the Dension? I'm researching cars now and didnt know there was a difference in the pcm on the 997 model. When did it change?

Yes I just learned the hard way that there is a slight difference. The way you can tell is to look on the left side of the PCM and above the keypad buttons, there is another set of buttons. If that set of buttons contains an icon for a phone (one to pick up and one to hang up), then that is the newer PCM, I think this is the 2.1. Mine has 4 buttons labelled CD, AM, FM, and CDC (Compact disc changer). It has no phone icons so I am basically screwed for fully integrated bluetooth and have to get the parrot. Although I hear the parrot is a great system, it would have been nice to know with this PCM, I could not have the option for full aftermarket integration before I bought my car. I would have kept looking for a car with a newer PCM. I think the PCM changed in late 2005 models. I have an early 2005 but I was told there are 2005's with the phone icon.
I was still able to use the Dension ipod integration though!
