Best color for 997.2 C2S

Whatever color you end up getting, that is the best color
- Black looks the best when it is clean / polished. Keeping it that way is another story.
- White looks fabulous on the 997, especially with a few black CF goodies here and there.
- The new Ruby Red Metallic is a real stunner- Photos of this color don't do it justice.
Midnight Blue Metallic turned out to be a very nice color on my .1 cab, I'm amazed with the color shift from lighter blue in the sun to almost black at night. Not sure if it is still offered for 997.2
Featured in promo vid here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQWueROnQh8&fmt=18 - there are some shots of it in direct / indirect sun.

grey, all the way! It is somewhere between silver and black and has the best attributes of each. Does not show dirt, but still lets you see the curves that diminish with white and silver. PLus, the car is almost invisible on the road! The aqua blue is really nice too, but will it still be an awesome color after looking at it for 5-7 years. Silver, grey, red, white are timeless.....

White seems to hold its own versus all other colors, and I'm leaning in that direction. Now the next question regarding the full leather interior: black, cocoa, or natural brown? Red is too bright for me, and sand beige is too light. Natural dark gray doesn't seem to distinguish itself enough from black.

Not many cars can look good in white, but a carrera can pull it off nicely.
If you don't plan on taking care of the exterior by routinely washing and waxing, stay away from dark colors, especially solid black.
Some great choices for dark, but not being a pain in the rear, are meteor grey, midnight blue.
Hope this helps.

I just took delivery of a 2009 4CS midnight blue, love that color on a 911....I initially ordered macadamia brown, and then changed my mind. I already have a black GTS, my previous Cayenne was black also, so enough black already...

I can't pick someone elses car for them . I have even seen some unusual colors look fantastic . Look at the gorgeous green Turbo on the 997tt forum . Even an orange Turbo looks amazing.
I don't see many 997S cars going over the top with color choices and I myself am traditional .I like black.
Next in line would be a special order GT silver .
