Yea I totally agree! I figure if you get a nice clean legit car about 2 years old with low miles that has already taken some depreciation, you're doing good because it will still have the factory warranty intact and plus you can add more miles to it yourself and after about 2 more years the car will have depreciated about 10-15K but at least you had it in possession and got enjoyment out of it with a piece of mind that you were covered under warranty~
On another note if you buy an older car that has already taken more depreciation for less money, you will have to take into account that it will probably not have a warranty left and the possibilities of more money going into repairs etc... so it all pretty much evens out to the same thing~
That's one of the reasons why you see older cars that do not have a warranty left drop drastically in price...
So the answer would be to try and find the cleanest car that your heart can settle on~

After a few hours of negotiation and leaving the dealer & later closing the deal over the phone that night I ended up buying the car for $57.8 with CPO which we backed into by agreeing to $60K out the door. I feel good about the price especially since I had a trade & they gave me a decent price for it.

You scored !!!! This 07 997S in atlas at 57.8 is a major great deal !!!!
Now you must post some better pictures with a good camera and setting .
Congrats. You must be beaming.

Thanks for the feedback. It's nice to hear others confirming what I thought was a good deal as well. Most of the initial negotiation was just working for a better price on my trade. Leaving the dealership and continuing negotiations 6 hours later over the phone saved me another two grand.

I couldn't be happier. All day long I've been in and out of the garage just to look at it. Hopefully I'll have some time to take some good pics in the next few days.

I still go in my garage to look at my car . The initial moments of a first Porsche are a lifetime memory .
