I have been searching everywhere to see if there is a way of doing this:
I am looking to add a small subwoofer and amp to a non-bose system. I got the base system because I know it is nearly impossible to replace the bose components. I always feared the MOST-BUS system, but is there an adapter to allow a small amp/sub combo??? or, can I tap into the rear speakers for out-put with a speaker to line level convertor???
That could also be answered if anyone knows if the rear speakers run full-range or have a high-pass crossover......In most vehicles, this is a ten minute mod, but I know the p-cars have some complicated electronics.

LOL! That place was near where I lived, and nobody, I mean nobody, is crazy enough to let them work on a car!!!
I used to do stereo installs on the jersey shore, and there were some good shops, but even the best ones break clips and use tape to fix! That is why i am trying to do this myself, with the help of a friend of mine who is a tech
