Thank you Flyer007 and ABhagat.

Having the opportunity to work with a fabricator who shares the same excitement and visualization of an idea, really makes it that much more cherished; especially when the final product is exactly what you have envisioned.

I had the GT3 MISHA front bumper with a MISHA GT3 (side exh. exits) and a MISHA GT2M rear wing. The whole package looked really good. PNUTTY now has it on his 997S.

Nice. Misha's fiberglass work/finish is pretty good. He's definitely a good sculptor.

i think it is well designed and flows well. there aren't many choices for smaller less conformed wings on the market. i also wouldn't change the mesh since that larger mesh allows the air to flow better. thumbs up.

I thought the same!

I like it, but don't love it. I like how its subtle and sleek, and it does look great on your car.

Thanks h2woo. That's a thought regarding the mesh. Come to think of it, the engine bay did not feel as "hot" as before after a spirited drive. I may just paint the inside section a flat black. Something for me to ponder.

You read my mind! When I started to think about what spoiler would look nice on a 997, I found that I wanted a spoiler that flows well with the car's sillhouette; sleek appearing, subtle but noticeable, and appears more OEM like than tacked on. I admire the ducktail of yesteryears, and I wanted to do a more modern rendition of it. A 993 Turbo Tail would have been great too, but would entail more $$$$.

Thanks.

Is this a completely new engine cover or are the original top slats removed and the new wing sits over the top of that section on the factory engine cover?

Deputy,

It only replaces the top slats. I would think that it would not affect the engine bay heat. Perhaps it's just in my mind, but I swear the engine bay feels not as hot as before.
