I am trying to replicate the new 997 white LED look so I dont think a yellow LED lite would do that. The new 997s have a white daytime running light that I was trying to reproduce. Why wouldnt I want the lower horizontal bar to be white for the driving lights?

 

its all personal preference, if whites your goal easier to install some Hoen H8 fog lamps, xenonmatch ones.

To replicate the LED on the new ones you should consider a front end swap to do it right, otherwise you will just have a white / blue single round light. You wont get the luminosity of the factory LED bar with any aftermarket LED. Atermarket LED's are more icy blue looking.

 

I get it and thanks for the reply so maybe I will just forget the whole thing. I dont get why someone hasnt figured out an aftermarket direct replacement for the 997.1 horizontal bar. It cant be that hard to offer the same light housing as the current system with a new LED light bar like gen 997.2.

 

I want to do the switchbacl signals with an LED bar in the foglight housing. It would look amazing. I bought these and porsche installed them. I kinda find my Xenon too look more yellow than my fogs now. The Ebay seller is the Cargym.com.
