Ive really have bin searching up this "pdk" porsche is buggin about... and im kind of angry...why? because the specs dont seem right to me... they say its FASTER!! but 0-100 it looses 1.1 SECONDS!!! what is this non-sense!... its heavier, slower along the whole speed ratio, except! "0-60" woahh im happy... will sport plus option make those 0-100 specs disappear... also the drag coefficient is 30(PDK) compared to 29 (Manuel) really I would love to know the "true" benefits...cuz i was dam exited to hear about PDK... help me out guys.

For one thing. 0-60 and 0-100 (sport chrono or not) is always faster with PDK.
Im looking in the book right now.

 

these are the specs off the porsche (Configure a Porsche, Technical Info in the print page) this is specs for a Cerrera 4 S... what does you book tell you..

sorry but the PDK is faster than many gear box only elasticity and top speed is faster with manual gear box

PDK is heavier and the setup of ratio is near the in the two gear box but PDK have a 7TH speed
that the reason for the manual is better in elasticy test because the manual was in 5TH and the PDK in 6TH a longer ratio developpement i supose if PDK was in 5TH the PDk is same

and i think the TOP speed of PDK is slower only due to the oil pump of the PDK gear box

the CX is exactly the same in manual and PDK,PDK don't to ad external cooler,

The top speed of the manual is 2mph more because 6th gear in the manual is taller than the pdk. there is no place in the USA to even go 186mph anyway so this to me is a moot point.

Other than that the pdk is faster due to the shorter 1-6 gears and faster shifting...in other words the pdk pulls harder. PDK is a 7 speed but 7th gear is too tall to pull top speed and is more of an overdrive gear for good fuel mileage on the highway.

 

Obviously if Florida you don't have roads like SoCal - granted 180+ is fast, but I dare say in non-commute hours, I see some people clipping along at big numbers.

 

PDK is 66 LBS heavier than a manual.
