New 997 C4S

Niether car has performance mods. Based on stock figures, it's close. My E55 could do 0-60 in 4.1 seconds. The C4S can do it in about 4.3.
As I don't drag race, it wasn't a big deal to give up those few tenths for a car that handles so much better. If your into drag racing, I would go with the E55.

I second that. When I test drove the C4S/PDK it pulled just as hard as my 2006 E55, if not harder. I didn't expect that with the torque less than my 2001 E55(wife's car now). The agility and responsivenss of the P-car is amazing. My 2006 E55 at sport II setting doesn't even come close.

John, The PDK is the new auto tranny for '09? Also, isn't there a bump in HP for '09? Reason I am asking before I went with the 63 i drove the 997Carrera S and was not impressed with the power, everything else I liked. The 63 lease is up now and if there is a major improvement with the '09 'S' models might make a dive for one.
