0-60 in 4.1 seconds

Here's what C&D had to say about the acceleration test...
"Even with the rear axle tramping violently almost all the way through first gear, the Carrera S could be horsewhipped to a 4.1 scond 60 mph run and a 12.6 second quarter mile at 112 mph."
They also said...
"...but don't try clutch drops with a car you plan to keep."
I would bet the 0-60 time C&D achieved will be very hard to match, with other tests coming in somewhere between 4.5-4.7 sec. The 997S is granny geared in 1st with a 13.45 overall ratio, so that's where it's getting it's "good" 0-60 times. As evident from it's 0-100 time of 10.2 sec, it's running taller gears in 2nd-4th.
Lots of cars are running 1st and 2nd gears that allow good 0-60 times, but with 3rd-4th gears that produce relatively slower 0-100 times.
