She got her first Wax Job...
Oh man she looks amazing sitting in the garage. I clay bar'd her first, and now she's silky smooth with a nice new wax job. I'm excited about the photoshoot .
I bought a $250 wax sampler kit a few years back from Zymol which has samples of their top of the line waxes like for the Concours and such. I can't another sampler kit available on the site; I'll have to look deeper.
Checkout the price of the one I used last night and how much it would have cost if I bought it separately. By the way, I love the Zymol waxes; no residue, and I like the idea of rubbing it on with your hands.
Pics coming soon if it doesn't rain.

Its always exiting to do the "first wax". Sometimes a little nerve wracking because i dont know how the new ride will take to the wax...Your Zymol was a couple of years old??? Does wax have an expiration date???

no sir; zymol is the real deal; over the counter the "other waxes" have at most 4% wax... Zymol up to like 60%. Wax in its natural state is as hard as concrete. The wax comes in an air sealed container and it stays in the frig. It melted like butter in my hand. Awesome. It reacts with air and then it hardens after the chemical reaction; thus you must remove it fairly quickly.
soon soon soon

You should check out Swissvax products. They have a wax that was especially formulated for P cars. This is called Swissvax Zuffenhausen. Their products are expensive, but well worth the money. I have used other products, but the Swissvax really makes my pcar happy!!!!!

Man, it finally stopped raining this afternoon; so she hasn't been outside since she's been waxed. I do have a sneek peek though. Let me get it uploaded. This was taken with my blackberry.

I've used both Swissvax and Zymol. I would say the results are very similar without the price tag of the Zymol line up. In all honesty, I'm not much of a fan of the hand application deal..too much gimmick if you ask me.
