2009 c4s cab discounts?
#2
I didnt buy his story and went back a week later and the car I wanted was sold.
I found the Cabs on the lot seem to go quicker in the spring however I live in the North West so not much use for them in the winter. I guess you have to ask yourself if its worth the extra to drive it this summer .
The market is certainly different this year and hopefully your negotiations will have more impact.

I got one at the end of February and paid about $110k on a $121k MSRP...coupled with the lease special "certificate" at the moment, I got a great lease payment with no cap reduction, just typical drive-off costs...I feel it is a great deal.

Fred Baker Porsche in Ohio had similiar deal; 121K retail and sale price of $110K without any haggling. Plus special lease and finance deal too. This is a good time to get one but don't wait too long.

ive been able to get 17-19% easy after they drop off their profit and then apply the coupons/etc... only problem is even with great credit they dont want to finance the lease for me.. everything was fine but then after the weekend they said no.. after placing deposit on car and everything... i went thru a company that all they do is leases and after a few days they as well got a "no" back.. seems they feel everything is still risky... not sure.. given i dont have 800+ credit scrore but its mid 7's with nothing negative anywhere on it..
my suggestion would be to figure out what 20% is and say "this is my offer" and hardball em... chances are they will bump that extra little bit to close a sale.... worst case there are tons of other porsche dealers

I would assume 17-20% is for 2008 but I doubt it for the 2009. And the current incentive program is only through Porsche Financial Services. I have no problems going through PFS with credit score of 780 and being self-employeed. Being curious I would like to know which dealer is giving 20% discount.

i forgot to include that i would be buying outright, not leasing or financing. i feel like there should be a great deal to be made due to the current economic sitution. wondering if 20% off sticker is reasonable.
