Forgestar wheels for 997...
what do you guys think..
I am considering the F14's
Here is the link from this website..
https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ed-wheels.html
Offsets and sizes for 997
19x8.5 offsets from +26 to +46
19x9.0 offsets from +20 to +44
19x10 offsets from +20 to +44
19x11 offsets from +33 to +55
I would like to do the F14's in 19X9 and 19X11, what is the best offset?

Good deal, but I'm leary about the offset for the 19 x 9 @ 44mm. That would push your front tire beyond the fender well. I have Kinesis F110 19 x 8.5 @ 50mm and it's pretty much flushed with the fenderl.
Unless you planned to lower your car so that the tires will tuck in a bit, I would stick with 50mm or more IMO for the front tires.

It's not a forged wheel. Starts out as a cast blank and is heat treated and rolled, then cut to create the wheel design.

i know the process, enkei does same.. its not forged tho.. its still cast or as some would call "supercast"
i was saying. their name is forgestar, but they arent forged wheels.. thats like selling a cheeseburgerand calling it a "Filet Mignon Steak"

The name could be misleading..however the fact the wheel isn't forged wouldn't stop me. The OEM wheel isn't forged and they are extremely strong and the casting process being used is an excellent process that brings the strength approaching that of a forged wheel but at only a fraction of the cost.
