Sirius radio and Ipod connection
I am looking to have Sirius installed and figured it would be nice to have an Ipod connection as well. I live in NorCal and was hoping someone could steer me to a reputable outfit. Also, if anyone who has had this done-are there premium brands for this type of installation? Thanks for your time.

I'm going through the same process right now. I have it scheduled to be done in about 1 1/2 weeks. I chose the Dension Icelink with blue tooth and the Cayenne XM porsche kit for my satellite radio. I'll let you know how those work out. I have heard really good reports about both independently but don't know of anyone who has done both. I posted the same thread as you about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I got some response about each individually but not anyone who had reported they had both done. I'll try to post a response or new thread when I get this completed and give you my report. Good luck!

What year is your 911? I have a 09, which unfortunately did not come with the Navi. As a result, i'm still waiting for the navi retrofit kit to come in prior to me installing the ipod connector. For the sake of warranty, etc.. I will be going with the OEM option.

My carrera is an 07, it did come with the Nav. The porsche I pod hook-up is FM modulated and is not really optimal for good digital sound. I would not say that it is the appropriate interface for good sound quality, frankly I've never seen one that works. You may want to reconsider the investment in the porsche interface if you can at this point. I don't know if the Dension or Nav TV hookups work with the PCM 2 though. Good luck!
