It seems my car is too low
So I have the tech art lip kit, side kit and is lowered about 1.5" with H&R springs. I am trying to find a jack that I can use with my car, without the need for driving up either homemade ramps or purchased ramps, but so far, every low profile jack I have tried, still does not go under. I have tried the Sears craftman one, the one from Northern Tools and a friend has the tirerack model, all too tall to get under the car.
I have researched aftermarket ramps, but race ramps are way more expensive then they should be and the only other ramp that I could find for lower profile cars is by Tomika (sp?).
The other option, which might be what I ultimately have to do, is go purchase a 2x8, cut it down into two pieces for each side and the drive up on the wood, to get a jack under it. I have needed to do this to get a jack under my other car, but I would have to purchase a new jack in order to get under the Porsche, even with the wood piece.
Do you guys have any other ideas?

I saw that the other day when trying to do some research. It seems I have only about 2.5" of clearance on the side to put a jack under, my guess is that I will have to factor in some wood, no matter what I do.

Once cut it WILL NOT flip up!

if i were you. i'd look into dumping the h&r springs. many complaints on this board about them from riding too harsh to saging over time to sitting too low

Griots Garage low profile jack is probably the lowest I have ever seen... But at $400 is a little expensive.
But its only 2.25" tall and can lift 2tons so I doubt you will find one better.... I guess you have to decide how much not having to put boards down is worth to you over the long haul.

As for changing out the suspension, right now, that is not an option. It is not a daily driven car, the cost I am not able to take on right now and I would much rather spend money on paying down the loan and looking for wheels instead.

As JEllis mentioned, the Griots Garage jack is superb!! I used it myself at home, before having access to a lift every day. Yes, it's a bit on the expensive side, but worth every penny. The quality is really top notch.
