best way ro remove protective clear paint guard?

is there a preferred method to remove the 'clear bra' on the sides by the rear wheels? i have some techart sideskirts coming and wanted these off. i was thinking using a hairdryer to slowly heat them and peel them off?

A steam machine works best I'm told (no glue residue), but a hairdryer (or preferably a heat gun) will do the job.

Is it actual clear bra material, or the OEM "stone guards"? If the latter, I just pulled mine off with no heat. There was no residual adhesive or residue.

My factory quarter panel stone guards look a little beat up and I was looking to replace mine. Are they avail through a porsche dealer, and when you apply them do you use a little soapy water to position them then squeegy the bubbles out and use a hair dryer to set them?

We do have the factory pieces available in pre-designed form. Cost is $80 + shipping. We do recommend professional application if possible.
