OZ is an F1 supplier and Ruf uses the 3 piece supperleggera's on their cars.

BBS RG-R or CH-R. The stock, classic five-spoke also works.

9.5x19 (987 rear) 25 pounds
11x19 (997 turbo rear) 28.8 pounds

19x8.5 and 19x11 HRE Monoblocks (21#, 24#)

Carrera III Wheel Weights

10x18, 24.9 lbs

Tire Weights:

Potenza RE050A 24/32
ContiSporrtContact 2 21/29
Pilot Sport PS2 22/28
P Zero Rosso 22/28
Advan Sport 24/30

I like the Carrera Sports in that they are the widest OEM wheel provided for the 911 since the car was introduced in 1964. With these cars, wider is better.

Simple answer....

I can't seem to keep anything stock, so these were refinished in hyper silver/black....19 RUF...ever since I saw RUF wheels on the 993 I have been hooked.... they look as at home on the 997's IMO.

The P40's are far and away my favorite...the Oz's a close 2nd.
Which OZ model? The sizing on the one piece wheel are fairly set, but we can do most any width you want on the multi-piece.

Based on my most recent VISA card activity, I've got to vote for HRE P40's.

I had the same original questions when looking for wheels for my C4S...yes the Oz's are a very good looking, well built, lightweight wheel....but just not a P40.
I ordered my P40's in 20" Matte Black yesterday.
Congrats and can't wait to see pics.
