Question could be nothing?

sometimes when im sitting at a light and it turns green i put in the clutch and go to put in 1st but i have to move it back and fourth a few times to get it in. It feels like it wont let me go into gear . does tht mean anything?

Should get better after the car warms up a bit. IOW, it's worse when it's cold. I find it frustrating...

double clutch it or put it in 2nd before shifting it into 1st .

I sometime shift to 2nd then to 1st right before the light turns green.

I've kept it in 1st before while holding the clutch in, I'd say my left leg is getting a work out. I miss my BMW M5 SMG.

You mean you've never tried the other gears?
I sometime shift to 2nd then to 1st right before the light turns green.
I always go from 2nd into 1st, but it's still "notchy" and sometimes won't go in the first try...mainly when the engine is cold.

yeah its normal and what everyone has said above is mostly true, I sometimes put it in second then first as it makes it much smoother.
